We had to leave early this morning, because my daughter had to be at school for a make-up test. As I came down the hill toward the bridge I wished for a camera. There was a huge fog bank hovering over the river and the top of the bridge, but the sun was shining on my side of it, lighting up the steel girders and making them glow.
As we crossed the bridge, and into the fog, I realized we were driving UNDER the fog. The heavy equipment on the river bank looked like something out of a horror movie.
At times like that, I wish there was a walkway on the bridge and that I could stop and take a picture!
